Most people can agree that conservation of the environment is extremely important. Conservation work can sometimes be very exciting and engaging from a communications point of view, but many times, however, it seems to be the other way around. Environmentalists can be perceived in a negative way, the value of the objectives they pursue are many times difficult to convey. When Conservation International in Costa Rica asked us to work with them to bring important conservation issues to light, we knew we had our work cut out for us.
Turns out that in order to design communication products on a regional level, communication is key.
Very quickly, we understood that when so much is at stake, every voice needs to be considered. In creating the voice of Conservation International in Costa Rica, we followed the guidance of the NGO’s national strategy, yet validated it with the organization’s stakeholders and partners.
Conservation International is one of the largest NGOs in the world, so we always make sure that our messages align with the narrative of the whole organization and the priorities of their global strategy.
